Reporting an Emergency
To report an emergency from a campus phone, call 911.
To report an emergency using a cellphone, call 617-287-1212.
When reporting an emergency, be prepared to provide the following information:
- Type and severity of emergency
- Specific location, including building, room, or other directions.
- When the incident occurred
- Other critical details
- Your name and telephone number
Call from a safe location, if possible. Remain calm. Speak slowly and clearly. Do not hang up until the dispatcher ends the call.
