Civil Disturbances

Civil disturbances include demonstrations or assemblies that have become disruptive.

In the event of a civil disturbance:

• Call 911 from any campus phone or 617-287-1212 from a cell phone.
• Provide the address, location, and all possible details to the dispatcher.
• Do not become involved in the disturbance.
• Secure your work area if it is safe to do so.
• If the disturbance is outside, remain inside, away from doors and windows.
